Pauline H. Fortner, 82, of Frankfort, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Golden Living Center.

She is survived by a sister, Bessie Simpson; four brothers, James Ernest Hellard, Zeke Hellard, John Hellard, and Bill Lewis Hellard; her stepbrother, Marion Stratton; and four nieces, Tina, Sandy, Tammy, and Debra.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 24, at New Life Worship Center by Bro. Gene Roberts. Visitation will be from 1:30 until time of the service.

A memorial service for Marie Louise "Bit" Lacazette, who died April 9, 2013, will be held at St. Johnís Church in Versailles at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. The service will be followed by burial of her ashes in Versailles Cemetery.

Edward Lee Overfield, 94, of Frankfort, widower of Wanita Grider Overfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at his home.

Born Jan. 5, 1919, in Henderson, he was the son of the late Charles Henry Overfield and Mary Ella Kirkwood Overfield. He was an office manager for Western Union, where he retired after 35 years of employment. He served as a sergeant in World War II with the U.S. Army Signal Corps, 178th Signal Repair Company. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Versailles United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Edwinna (Michael) Harrod, Frankfort; a sister, Mary Alice Overfield, Henderson; a grandson, Cory Harrod; a step-granddaughter, Raven Harrod; a great-grandson, Austin Harrod; and two step-great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Bennett Coley. Three sisters, Annie Overfield, Pearl Garrett, and Daisy Foss; and a brother, James Overfield, are deceased.

Services were conducted Friday, Oct. 18, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, by the Rev. Tim Thompson. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Carl A. Shetrone, 58, of Versailles, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Clark Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Shannon (Eddie) Peters, Winchester; a son, John Shetrone, Georgetown; two brothers; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

No services will be held at this time.
