Donald Jesse McMillen, 66, of Kekaha, Kauai, Hawaii, husband of Mary Ann Taeza McMillen, died on Nov. 30, 2013, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 3, 1947, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Samuel Clay and Charlene Jesse McMillen.

In addition to his wife,he is survived by a son, Micah Kamuela McMillen, Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother, James O. McMillen; and two sisters, Patricia M. Adams and Lela M. Duff. A son, Christopher Alexander McMillen, is deceased.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

John Hayes Peck Jr., 79, of Versailles, husband of Beverly Peck, died Saturday, May 17, 2014.

Born Dec. 18, 1934, in Middlesboro, he was the son of the late Nellie Morris Peck. He was an engineer for IBM, working as a manager of robotics for 25 years. He was also the founder of Woodford Aero Modelers and LMAC.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Debra Shockley, Midway; a son, John Peck, Lexington; and two grandchildren, Ethan Peck and Lauren Peck.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford Humane Society.

Lola M. Shellenberger, 95, widow of George H. Shellenberger, died Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Mayfair Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness.

Born in Jessamine County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel D. and Lucy Hagedorn Moody. She was a retired employee of Your Hardware and was a longtime member of the Versailles Baptist Church. She had also been employed at the old bus station and rail express in Versailles.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha S. (Ronald H.) Reed, Woodford County, and Evelyn L. Shellenberger, Flagler Beach, Fla.; a stepson, Charles Roger (Shirley) Shellenberger, Lexington; four grandchildren Thomas Reed, Carrie Rudzik, Karl Shellenberger, and Sona Jewell; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Edith Rohrer and Ruth Figg, and a brother, Raymond Moody, are deceased.

Services were conducted Wednesday, May 28, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. John Brandon. Burial was in the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were Tom Stone, Jason Rudzick, Sam Rhorer, Karl Shellenberger, Freddy Lane, and J. M. Lane. Honorary bearers were the ladies of the KFC Friday night group, Evelyn Brandon, Nellie Donnell, Betty Dozier, Wanda Hill, Roberta Hume, Frances James, Louise May, Joyce Perkins, Joyce Robinson, Bonnie Sharp, Eva Tingle, and Margaret Whalen.

Memorials are suggested to the Versailles Baptist Church Building Fund, 125 N. Green Street, Versailles, KY 40383.
