Joan Ohligschlager Hagan, 77, of Versailles and Bonita Springs, Fla., formerly of Midway, widow of Kenneth R. Hagan, died Sunday, July 1, 2012.
Born Aug. 13, 1934, in Louisville, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Hagan Peacock, Dallas, Texas; three sons, Michael Kenneth Hagan, Midway, Timothy Willett Hagan, Louisville, and Patrick Joseph Hagan, Midway; 19 grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Ohligschlager Conliffe, Louisville. A brother, James Bernard Ohligschlager, is deceased.
Services were conducted Wednesday, July 4, at St. Leo Catholic Church, Versailles. Interment was in the Midway Cemetery. Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, Versailles, was in charge of the arrangements.

Phil Knight, 59, of Versailles, husband of Evie Polin Knight, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
Born March 4, 1953, in Versailles, he was the son of Flora Knight of Millville and the late Francis Knight. He was a retired police officer for the Versailles and Woodford County police departments. After retiring, he was the owner of Phil Knight Painting.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Sarah (Steve) Kennedy Pazienza, Louisville; a son, Jay (Tish) Kennedy, Louisville; two brothers, Eddie (Charlene) Knight, Millville, and Barry (Brenda) Knight, Versailles; and six grandchildren, Jack, Ella and Mia Kennedy and Evelyn, Clarah and Cheytan Pazienza.
Services were conducted Monday, July 2, at St. Leo Catholic Church by Fr. Danny Schwendeman and the Rev. Todd Lester. Burial was in the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were David P. Clark, Daniel E. Clark, Hal Roberts, Jed Wiley, Loren Carl, and Karen DiRiamo. Honorary bearers were his nieces and nephews. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or oneís favorite charity.

Ada Katherine Jones Popp, 86, of Midway, widow of Orville "Cotton" Popp, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at her sonís home in Midway.
Born Nov. 4, 1925, in Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Asa William "Jack" Jones and Delia Norman Rogers.
Survivors include a son, Ray (Linda) Popp, Midway; two grandchildren, Ginger (Mike) Hill, Versailles, and Matthew (Kassie) Popp, Midway; and 6 great-grandchildren, Carter Martin, Madison, Jason and Kevin Hill, and Kaylie and Ashlyn Popp. A daughter, Brenda Carol Popp, and a brother, Asa William "Bill" Jones Jr., are deceased.
Services were conducted Monday, July 2, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, by the Rev. Mike James. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Matthew Popp, Mike Hill, Carter Martin, Matt Fetters, Matt McCall, and Jeremy Shryock. Honorary bearers were Ron and Jane Trayner.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
