Stanley P. DiPretoro, 77, of Midway, husband of Margaret DiPretoro, died Friday, June 9, 2017. Born Feb. 14, 1940, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Stanley and Rose Schillaci DiPretoro. He worked as an electrical engineer for Motorola. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and a member of St. John Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Abbey DiPretoro, Midway, Matthew DiPretoro, Midway, and Christopher DiPretoro, Maryland; a brother, Rocky DiPretoro, Colorado; a grandson, Christopher DiPretoro, Maryland; and his stepmother, Louise DiPretoro, Florida. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, at St John Catholic Church in Georgetown. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
