Carlotta Gay Soard Doss, 58, of Lawrenceburg, wife of the Rev. Edward Glynn Doss, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at her home. Born in Versailles, she was the daughter of Martha Barrick Soard and the late Roy Soard. She was a member of the Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Eddie Doss, Lawrenceburg; two daughters, Caressa Dotson (Travis), Versailles, and Kelly Walker (Cody), Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Feona C. Barnett, Arkansas, Donna R. Johnson (Pat), Versailles, and Tammy N. Lawson, Frankfort; a brother, Roy French Soard Jr. (Teresa), Florida; and 10 grandchildren. Two brothers, Timothy H. Soard and Gregory Soard, are deceased. Services were conducted Monday, Dec. 21, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Keith Sparks. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Trevor Dotson, John Doss, Travis Doss, Cody Walker, Daniel Doss, and Josh Soard. Honorary bearers were Pat Johnson, Roy French Soard Jr., Tony Fields, Josh Sparks, Lloyd Doss and Eugene Doss. Memorials suggested to Victory Chapel Church 1973 Mills Lane Frankfort, KY 40601.
