Jack W. Lancaster, 69, of Nicholasville, husband of Nancy M. Lancaster, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at the Hospice Care Center. Born Oct. 4, 1946, in Springfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late Thurman and Myrtle Brown Lancaster. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and was employed for 41 years with Link Belt. He was a member of the DAV, the Heart Masonic Lodge #61, the Bluegrass Sportsman Club, and was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his wife of 42 years, he is survived by a daughter, Vicki (Craig) Dickinson, Nicholasville; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Dickinson, Nicholasville; a sister, Rosemary (Frankie) Shuck, Versailles; and a brother, Thurman Lancaster Jr., Indiana. Services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 19, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, by the Rev. Dan McCoun. Burial was in the Lexington Cemetery.
