Jason Daryl Nelson, 38, of Versailles, husband of Renee Nelson, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015. Born in Frankfort, he was the son of Daryl Keith Nelson and Sadie Buntain Nelson. He was self-employed as a construction worker and a member of Camden Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Faith Nelson, Sadie Grace Nelson, and Daniel Nelson, all of Versailles; a sister, Denine Lynn Walker, Lawrenceburg; two stepsisters, Melissa Cate and Jennifer Chappa, both of Ohio; a stepbrother, Douglas Davis, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Sunday, Dec. 27, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by Bro. Wayde Miller. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were members of Brothers and Sisters in Recovery. Honorary bearers were Scottie Reynolds, Bryan Reynolds, Zach Wainscott, Logan Wainscott, Michael Buntain, and Harry Maddox.
