Shirley O’Canna, 84, of Lexington, formerly of Versailles, widow of J. S. “Smokey” O’Canna, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at the Northpoint Healthcare Center. Born in Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alma Halley, Survivors include two sons, Ted (Sondra) O’Canna, Versailles, and Joe (Sara) O’Canna, Hurst, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Maryanne O’Canna, Lexington; three grandsons, Ian O’Canna, Versailles, and Evan and Jon O’Canna, Texas; and a great-grandchild, Easton O’Canna. A son, Daniel O’Canna, a grandson, Kevin O’Canna, and a granddaughter, Emilee O’Canna, are deceased. A memorial service was conducted Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev.
