Western Kentucky University The following Western Kentucky University students from Versailles were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester: Stephanie N. Fusting, Benjamin M. Garrison, Rebecca L. Garrison, Ellen N. Cox, Kaitlyn E. Miller, Molly C. Dawson, Ali Boyd, Austin C. Vahle, Matthew G. Lawson. The following students were named to the president’s list for the fall 2015 semester: Maura J. Broderson, Sherah K. Devore, Michael A. Tincher, Brittany S. Johnson, Miranda K. Kittinger, Nicole L. Ares, Alexandria N. Staples, Hannah R. Freeman, Caitlin N. Sullivan, Emily G. Lawrence, Benjamin J. Luckett, Brandon F. Varble. Wofford College Duncan Courtney of Versailles, a member of the class of 2017, is studying abroad in the United Kingdom, during interim 2016. Interim permits students and professors to concentrate for the month of January on a single study project of his or her choosing. Interim projects are designed to move beyond traditional classroom courses and teaching methods, to consider important topics in relevant ways and places, to observe issues in action, to develop capacities for independent learning, and to encourage the responsible self-direction of educational development. Coastal Carolina University Stella Adams, a junior majoring in marine science from Midway, was named to the president’s list at Coastal Carolina University for the fall 2015 semester. The College of St. Scholastica Susan Anderson-Lenz of Versailles graduated with a master of science in health information management from The College of St. Scholastica during its fall 2015 commencement ceremony on Dec. 19. Samford University Elizabeth E. Southall of Versailles was named to the fall 2015 dean’s list at Samford University. Michigan State University Declan McClintock of Versailles was named to the fall 2015 semester dean’s list at Michigan State University with a 4.0 GPA.
