Nancy Beckham Waits, 77, wife of Russell C. Waits, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg. Born at McAfee in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Josephine Masters Beckham. She was a 1957 graduate of Versailles High School and was a longtime member of Versailles Baptist Church. In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is survived by a daughter, Karen (Terry) Jones, Versailles; a son, Kevin (Carol Collins) Waits, Versailles; a sister, Christine (Brad) Lafoe, Versailles; four grandchildren, Justin Jones, Andrea (Ryan) Oller, Amanda Waits, and Matthew Waits; and two great-grandchildren, Audrey Jones and Mason Oller. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at noon Friday, Jan. 22, by the Rev. John Brandon. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Casket bearers will be Terry Jones, Kevin Waits, Ryan Oller, Matthew Waits, Justin Jones, and Chip Lafoe.
