Snow Days

THE SNOW was the big story last week, as it wreaked havoc on the Woodford County High School sports schedule, as all games and competitions were cancelled over the weekend. Meanwhile, even if the WCHS softball team had wanted to practice, they would not have been able to because of all the snow covering their field on Monday, Jan. 25. While it might look like a peaceful scene right now with the snow covering the ground, in just a couple of months, this field will come alive, as the talented and experienced Lady Jackets will try to achieve their biggest goal, which is to make it to the KHSAA state championship series.
