Ruth Fitzgerald, 81, widow of Thomas Fitzgerald, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at Baptist Health in Lexington. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Cecile Linebeck Taylor. She was a Woodford County farm owner at Mortonsville and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy (Joe) Henry, Jessamine County; two sons, Mike (Mary) Fitzgerald, Indianapolis, Ind., and Tom (Patti) Fitzgerald, Winchester; five grandchildren, Patrick Fitzgerald, Sean Fitzgerald, Sarah Fitzgerald, Chris Henry, and Evan Henry; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian, Ian, and Sean Fitzgerald. A brother, Donald Taylor, is deceased. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. with the Rev.
