Clarence Foley, 66, of Versailles, husband of Linda Miles Foley, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2016. Born in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Layton Lee and Mary Kirkland Foley. He was a retired City of Versailles employee. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Virginia Triplett (Brian), Versailles, and Susanne Boyatt (Johnny), Lawrenceburg; a son, Ricky Foley Sr. (Leona), Versailles; five sisters, Ann Lippert, Judy Lay, Anna Miles, and Kathy Crow (Mac), all of Versailles, and Louise Foley, Nicholasville; seven brothers, Otha Foley (Rose), Jacob “Jake” Foley, and Kenny Foley (Sharon), all of Versailles, Russell Foley (Carol), Salvisa, Charles Foley (Brenda), Lawrenceburg, Jerry Foley, Frankfort, and James Foley, Louisiana; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services were conducted Monday, Feb. 1, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Bryan Roberts. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Ricky Foley Sr., Ricky Foley Jr., James Shuler, Brian Triplett, Tito Moreno, and Michael Foley. Honorary bearers were Alexandria Foley and John Boyatt.
