Timmy W. Cooper, 54, of Nicholasville, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at his residence. He worked as a painter for most of his life. Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Byrd, Harrodsburg; three sons, Derek Cooper, Georgetown, Preston Cooper, Georgetown, and Timothy Cooper, Versailles; two sisters, Menique Bentley, Lawrenceburg, and Jennifer Warren, Lexington; three brothers, Daniel Spivey, Lexington, Luke Spivey, Keene, and Randy Metcalf, Keene. His father, Densil Cooper, and a daughter, Tammy Cooper, are deceased. Services were conducted Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial was in Rose Crest Cemetery.
