Ky. Republican Presidential caucus
The Woodford County Republican Presidential Caucus will be held on Saturday, March 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woodford County Courthouse. Only registered Republican voters as of Dec. 31, 2015, can vote in the caucus. Voters are allowed to vote by absentee ballot if he/she is: 1) over 70 years old; 2) will be absent from their county on March 5; 3) is active military and not living in their home county; 4) a student living away from home; or 5) has a medical or physical condition that prevents him or her from participating in the caucus. Applications for absentee ballots must be received by the Republican Party of Kentucky (RPK) by Feb. 19. Completed absentee ballots must be received at RPK by March 4. An absentee ballot may be downloaded through the RPK website, www.rpk.org. Voters may also apply to vote by absentee ballot by mail, fax, or in person. Voters can visit the RPK in person at 105 W. 3rd Street, Frankfort. The RPK mailing address is P.O. Box 1068, Frankfort, KY 40602. The RPK fax number is (502) 223-5625.
