Clarence Richardson, Jr., 84, of Versailles, widower of Ruby Richardson, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. Born April 18, 1931, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Clarence Richardson and Josie Martin Richardson. He was a retired employee of IBM and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Bullet) Couch and Jonelle (Bob) Sidebotham, both of Versailles; two sisters, Mary Margaret (Phil) House, and JoAnn Leigh, both of Versailles; a brother, Paul (Barbara) Richardson, Versailles; five grandchildren, Laura (David) Brown, Sarah (Mark) Conner, Chris Couch, Corey Courtney and Ashton Courtney; and seven great-grandchildren, Gillian, Philip, Aaron and Louise Brown, and Patrick, Mollie, and Henry Mac Conner. A daughter, Charleen McKenzie, two sisters, Katherine Lee and Betty Hagan, and two brothers, Carl Richardson and Clayton Richardson, are deceased. Services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 6, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by Michael Cabell. Casket bearers were Bullet Couch, Bob Sidebotham, David Brown, Mark Conner, Chris Couch, and Corey Cortney. Condolences may be expressed at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
