Donald Fox Ward, 69, of Evansville, Ind., died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, in Evansville. Born in Hazard, he was the second of four sons of Hazel F. Ward of Versailles and the late Judge Don A. Ward. He was an engineer, vice president and partner of Azimuth Plastic Extrusions, LLC, in Evansville, and was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville. He graduated from Hazard High School, attended Georgetown College, Union College, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BS in chemistry and minor in physics. He was a member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge #25. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Don Fox (Vickie) Ward, Anderson County, and David A. (Jenny) Ward, Lexington; six grandchildren, Matthew Ward, Evansville, and Wilson Ward, Jeremy Ward, Joe Decker Ward, Miriam Ward, and Victoria Brooke Collins, all of Lexington; two brothers, Sam M. (Pam) Ward, Louisville, and J. Steve (Carol) Ward, Versailles; and his companion, Millie Dee Stevens of Louisville. A brother, Richard C. Ward, and a sister-in-law, Karen, are deceased. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 11, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Coy Walters. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
