Frances Sturgeon Bright, 72, of Versailles, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2016. Born June 10, 1943, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Jordan Sturgeon. She was a homemaker and a member of Clear Creek Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Christopher (Kerry) Bright, Virginia, and Patrick (Angela) Bright, Rota, Spain; two sisters, Ona Sturgeon, Georgetown, and Louise Armstrong, Versailles; and three grandchildren, Christopher David, Madelynn Frances, and Joshua Patrick. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
