Lucille Donoho Eaves, 88, of Versailles, widow of James C. Eaves, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016. Born Aug. 1, 1927, in Centralia, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Winnie Byers Donoho and Clarence Donoho. She was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Pam (Jim) Knight and Dawn (Freeman) Bailey; both of Versailles; three grandsons, Jimmy (Kayla) Knight, Dan (Shannon) Knight, and Adam (Amy) Bailey; and 10 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Sarah, Eden, Troy, Peyton, Clay, Luke, Lucia, Harper and Scarlett. A daughter, Linda Eaves Myers, is deceased. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, March 3, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, with the Rev. Carolyn Steward officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers will be Jim Knight, Freeman Bailey, Jimmy Knight, Dan Knight, Adam Bailey and Shawn Donoho. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
