Charlotte Campbell, 94, of Versailles, widow of Clifford Campbell, died Friday, March 18, 2016, at her residence. Born May 11, 1921, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Wash and Trixie Wilhoite Wash. She worked for Rand McNally and sewed parachutes at Irving Airchute in Lexington. Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Woolums and Brenda Poole, both of Versailles; three sons, Paul Campbell, Anderson County, and Clifford Campbell and Jerry Campbell, both of Versailles; eight grandchildren, Linda McDaniel, Versailles, Lori (Tracy Jarvis) Poole, Versailles, Brandon Poole, Versailles, Adrienne (Chad) White, Virginia, Susan Puckett, Lexington, Sarah (Darin) Robbins, Ohio, Matthew (Sarah) Dees, Pennsylvania, and Cassie Campbell (Ronald), Frankfort; and nine great-grandchildren. A son, Martin Campbell, a sister, and four brothers are deceased. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. today, Thursday, March 24, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort by the Rev. Keevin Carter.
