Glenda Carol Harney Cruise, 71, of Midway, widow of Dr. Sidney Elliott Cruise, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Baptist Health Lexington. Born Feb. 25, 1945, in Helena, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Glenn Allen and Ann Rice Harney. She was a 1963 graduate of Paris High School and attended Transylvania University and Morehead State University. Survivors include a brother, Charles Allen Harney, Paris; an aunt, Ruth Harney, Paris; two stepchildren, Ashley Havens and Chris (Jennifer) Havens; two step-grandchildren, Elliott and Landry Havens; and several cousins. Services were conducted Saturday, March 19, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris, by the Rev. Sue McCracken. Burial was in the Midway Cemetery. Casket bearers were Jim Harney, Tom Harney, Stu Brown, Dr. Jack Shepherd, Jonathan Shepherd, and Jason Shepherd. Guestbook at www.hinton-turnerfuneralhome.com.
