Morgan

Manley Morgan, 87, of Versailles, husband of Priscilla Morgan, died Thursday, March 24, 2016. Born May 2, 1928, in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Thomas M. Morgan and Mary McMillen Morgan. He was a farmer and a firefighter for the Woodford County Fire Department for 35 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jimmy Morgan, Lawrenceburg, and Alan Morgan, Versailles; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Five children, Amy Morgan, Tommy Morgan, Dara Morgan, Randy Morgan, and Manelle Morgan Britton, are deceased. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, March 29, at the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were members of the Woodford County Fire Department. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or a charity of one's choice.
