Requests for B&B permits in Midway on BOA agenda

Two requests for conditional-use permits to operate a bed and breakfast in Midway are scheduled to come before the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Board of Adjustment at its regular meeting on Monday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Woodford County Courthouse. Stephen Simoff wants a permit to operate a three-room bed and breakfast/inn at 424 South Winter Street in Midway, R-3 (medium-density residential). The applicant does not propose hosting any events. John and Rebecca Moore are seeking an approval to operate a three-room bed and breakfast/inn at 113 North Winter Street in Midway. The applicants do not propose hosting any events. A dentist's office no longer operates in the OHR-2 (old historic) residence known as the Porter House.
