James "Bullet" Couch, 53, of Versailles, husband of Donna Richardson Couch, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Born in Oneida, he was the son of the late Christla and Mollie Lykins Couch. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, James Christopher Couch, Versailles; a sister, Gaynell Hensley (Delbert Smith), Manchester; four brothers, Carl Couch (Lizzie), Tennessee, Andy Couch (Nancy), Lancaster, Charlie Couch (Millie), Livingston, and Roy Couch (Barb), Manchester; two sisters-in-law, Jonelle Sidebotham (Bob), Versailles, and Tootsie Marcum, Manchester; and a brother-in-law, Lester Smith, McKee. Two sisters, Marietta Estep and Hester Smith, and a brother, Walter Couch, are deceased. Services were conducted Monday, April 4, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Randy Nation. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Estil Stone, Matt Stone, Todd Hargett, James Damrel, Heath Walker, Steve Miller, and Bob McGothen. A memorial fund has been set up c/o Donna Couch at Community Trust Bank, 101 N. Main St. Versailles, KY 40383.
