Vivian Wasson Cooper, 74, of Versailles, wife of Jerry Cooper, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Born July 5, 1941, in Estill County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Wayne Estes and Dorothy Walling Estes. She was a former employee of the Woodford County School System. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Belinda Wasson Singleton, Lexington; three stepsons, Jerry Cooper Jr., Charles Cooper, and Bryan Cooper, all of Versailles; a stepdaughter, Amy Rousch, Florida; two sisters, Elwanda Montgomery, Versailles, and Ollie Mitchell, Midway; three brothers, Lonnie Wayne Estes, Versailles, Tracy Estes, Midway, and Julian Estes, California; two grandchildren, Caleb and Michael Wasson; nine step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. A son, Woodie Keith Wasson, and a brother, Glenn Estes, are deceased. Graveside services were conducted Friday, April 22, at Sunset Memorial Gardens by the Rev. David Barron. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, was in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to the Woodford Humane Society or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
