Wiese

Paul Wiese, 72, husband of Paula Wiese, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Stanford, he was the son of Pauline Barnett Wiese of Somerset and the late Everett Wiese. He was a retired line clearance supervisor with Kentucky Utilities and a member of the Bluegrass Council of the Blind. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by seven children, Todd Wiese, Carlisle, Amy Bowman (Robert), Midway, Angela Wiese, Versailles, and Daniel Wiese, Jim Wiese, Erin Hawley (Jordan), and Maria Wiese, all of Lexington; two sisters, Martina Gilkey, Louisville, and Angie Nelson, Somerset, two brothers, Joe Pat Wiese, Somerset, and Phillip Wiese, Lexington; and 13 grandchildren. A grandson is deceased. A celebration of life service was conducted Wednesday, April 27, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville. Contributions may be made to the Bluegrass Council of the Blind.
