Columbia

Hazel P. Columbia, 97, of Midway, widow of Henry Lee Columbia, died Friday, April 29, 2016. Born July 26, 1918, in Frankfort, she was the daughter of the late Albert Parker and Lydia Clark Parker. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Donald L. (Jackie) Columbia, Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Linda Columbia; two sisters, Anna Smith and Wanda Tome; a brother, Elmer Parker; five grandchildren, Wayne (Kelly) Logan, Dale (Patty) Logan, Donnie (Mary Ann) Columbia, John Robert Columbia, and Vicki (Brian) Dominick; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. A daughter, Carolyn Logan, and a son, Jerry Columbia, are deceased. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, May 3, at the Midway Cemetery by the Rev. Steve Haddon. Casket bearers were her grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Midway Baptist Church or Relay for Life of Woodford County.
