Sissy Dotson, 77, of Versailles, wife of Bobby G. Dotson, died Saturday, April 30, 2016. Born July 31, 1938, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Helen Webber. She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church. In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by a daughter, Janet Dotson (Mark) Hall, Lexington; a son, Heath Webber (Leigh) Dotson, Georgetown; a daughter-in-law, Petra Dotson, Versailles; a sister, Myra Webber (Bob) Blankenship, Versailles; two brothers, Bill (Nee Nee) Ahern and Charles "Bones" (Peggy) Webber, both of Versailles; and six grandchildren, Gavin and Sarah Hall, Taylor and Luke Dotson, and Reece and Olivia Dotson. A son, Blake Whitney Dotson, and a granddaughter, Jordan Hall, are deceased. Services were conducted Wednesday, May 4, at St. Leo Catholic Church by Fr. Danny Schwendeman and the Rev. Christopher Dotson. Burial was in Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers were Carl Ellis, Doug Matthews, Bob Blankenship, Justice Webber, Robert Richardson and Charlie Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford Humane Society.
