Otie Adams, 81, of Versailles, wife of David Adams, died Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Beech Grove, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lorena Groves Rife. She was a 1952 graduate of Versailles High School and a member of East Hickman Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Judy Harney (Joe) and Beth Eades (Dr. Stanley), Lexington; a son, Tony Adams, Lexington; five grandchildren, Brian Harney (Maia), Jennifer Marshall (Matt), Chris Eades, Kimberly Tuney (Chase), and Savannah Adams, all of Lexington; and four great-grandchildren, Gavian Marshall, Conner Harney, Alyssa King, and Sawyer Marshall, all of Lexington. Services were conducted Tuesday, May 17, at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens Chapel by Howard Rupard and the Rev. Brian Iverson Officiating. Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions are suggested to Lexington Lions Club fund for sight and the Hospice of Bluegrass Lexington.
