Comley

Anna Catherine Comley, 87, of Midway, widow of Robert D. Comley Jr., died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, in Lexington. Born April 6, 1929, in Midway, she was the daughter of Clyde and Ollie Wash True. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, where she was very active with church work, including working with children and WMU. She was a former member of Woodford Homemakers and enjoyed doing crafts. Survivors include a son, Robert A. (Debbie) Comley, Georgetown; five grandchildren, Sarah Comley, Georgetown, Jennifer Poindexter, Jonesville, N.C., Tammy Hopkins, Scott County, Trisha Cox, West Liberty, and Tracie Hackworth, Salyersville; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Jeanette True; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Carolyn Comley. A brother, Clarence True, is deceased. Services were conducted Monday, Monday, May 23, at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, Georgetown, by Dr. Steve Hadden. Burial was in the Midway Cemetery.
