Ladies’ Day Golf Results at MHGC

It was a beautiful, sunny day for Ladies’ Day Golf on Tuesday at Moss Hill Golf club. Here are this week’s results. In the 18-hole competition, the day mostly belonged to Mary K. Woodrum, who won three of the competitions. She began by shooting an 83 to win the Low Gross competition, while Yvonne Gibson shot a 71 to win the Low Net competition. Woodrum and Melinda Hendricks both had 30 putts in their rounds to tie for the win in the Fewest Putts competition. Woodrum also won the Special. In nine-hole competition, Chris Franklin shot a 39 to win the Low Gross event. She also won the Special. Kelli Gould shot a 38 to win the Low Net competition, and Sherrie Haggerty had 15 putts in her round to win the Fewest Putts event. Ladies’ Day Golf is played every Tuesday through Sept. 27.
