Memorial Day closings, hours

The following businesses and government offices have announced closings or special hours for Monday, May 30, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The Woodford Sun will be closed Monday. All advertising and news copy deadlines for the June 2 issue will be noon on Friday, May 27. The Versailles and Midway city governments will be closed. Legacy Carting and Rumpke Sanitation will operate on their regular garbage collection schedules. The Woodford County Courthouse and Annex will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 27, and will remain closed until 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 31. The Versailles Post Office will be closed Memorial Day, and there will be no mail delivery. The Cornerstone Pharmacy and Compounding Laboratory will be closed. The CVS Pharmacy will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on May 30. The Kmart Pharmacy will be closed. The Kroger Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Railroad Drug in Midway will be closed. All Woodford County banks will be closed on Memorial Day, as will the Greater Kentucky Credit Union. The Woodford Humane Society adoption center will be closed. The Woodford County Public Library's Versailles and Midway branches will be closed on Memorial Day. The Woodford County Health Department will be closed on Monday, May 30. Indoor facilities at Falling Springs Arts and Recreation Center will be closed on Monday, May 30. The Woodford County Recycling Center will be closed Monday, May 30.
