Police Reports Versailles police responded to one injury accident, 23 non-injury accidents, two domestic-related complaints and made six arrests. On May 25 at 12:15 p.m., a Saturn Vue driven by Leann M. Morse, 20, was traveling on Spring Station Road. Morse told police she saw a deer in the middle of the road as she approached the crest of a hill. She swerved right and her vehicle left the road, striking a utility police. Morse was examined at the scene, but not taken to a hospital. On May 30, terroristic threatening was reported at a home on Falcon Road. On May 25, a Lintex moped was reported stolen on Macey Avenue. On May 29, alleged sexual abuse was reported at a Beech Street home. On May 27, a burglary was reported at an abandoned building on McCracken Pike. On May 19, a laptop computer worth $1,000 was reported stolen from an industrial site on the U.S. 60 Bypass. On May 25, tools worth a total of $5,294 were reported stolen from a vehicle on Nancy Street. On May 28, a GMC Acadia was reported vandalized on Big Sink Road. On May 24, police made an arrest in the Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot for trafficking in marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. On May 25, terroristic threatening was reported at a Bruen Street, Midway, home. On May 22, a Craftsman push mower worth $160 was reported stolen from a home on Lexington Street. On May 12, a front porch of an Arbor Place home was reported vandalized. On May 21, a Virginia Avenue home was reported vandalized, with black spray paint found on walls, windows and the floor. On May 24, police made an arrest on Lexington Road for failure to wear a seatbelt, no registration receipt and failure to provide an insurance card. Fire Reports City Firefighters installed two child safety seats during the past week. Firefighters assisted the Versailles Police Department on Spring Run Road May 29. A kitchen fire was extinguished on Kilmer Drive May 30. A short in an electrical outlet caused a smoke odor at a Fords Mill Road residence May 26.
