Michael E. Cunningham, 61, of Versailles, husband of Peggy Miller Cunningham, died Sunday, July 3, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Versailles, he was the son of Edwin Cunningham of Danville and the late Inge Andrae Cunningham. He was a retired assistant pressman at Rand McNally & Co., a 1973 graduate of Woodford County High School, and had been attending the Ohavay Zion Synagogue in Lexington. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two daughters, Andrea (Jesse) Annunziato and Hannah Cunningham, both of Lexington; a stepson, Forrest Parrott, Nicholasville; a granddaughter, Abigail Annunziato; a sister, Evie Bodling, Danville; and two brothers, Alan Cunningham, Lexington, and Rob (Kay) Cunningham, Danville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Thursday, July 7, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rabbi Moshe Smolkin officiating. Following cremation, interment will be at the Miller family cemetery at Nonesuch. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
