Police Reports Versailles police responded to one injury accident, five non-injury wrecks, two domestic-related complaints, made two arrests and issued two citations/summons. On June 29 at 9:49 p.m., a Chevy Silverado driven by Zachary T. Harrison, 22, of Stamping Ground, was traveling on Old Frankfort Pike on a curve approaching a bridge. He told police a westbound vehicle with its bright lights on approached him and crossed the center line. Harrison said he swerved, lost control, and his vehicle struck the railings on both sides of the bridge, ran into a ditch and struck a tree. Harrison was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. Police say his vehicle was not under proper control. On July 1, a vehicle parked at a Kilmer Drive home was scratched, with damage estimated at $500. On June 30, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident that caused $100 in damage to a GMC Sierra. On July 4, police made an arrest on Green Street involving no registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card and possession of drug paraphernalia. On July 1, a cell phone was reported stolen from a Montgomery Avenue home. On June 29, police recovered stolen property on I-64 East. On July 3, terroristic threatening was reported on Newton Street in Midway. On July 4, a Honda Civic was reported vandalized on McCracken Pike. On July 2, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Rose Hill Avenue. On July 5, a Ford F-250 that had been reported stolen was recovered on Raven Road. On June 30, a Glock pistol worth $500 was reported stolen on Curry Court. On June 28, a Discover card was reported stolen on Steele Road. On June 28, fraudulent use of a credit card was reported on Kentucky Avenue. On June 29, $226.33 in fraudulent charges on a credit card was reported on Delaney Ferry Road.
