Susan Faulkner Gooch, 78, of Versailles, widow of Glen Gooch, died Monday, July 18, 2016. Born in Waynesburg, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Elsie Whitt Faulkner. She was a retired bank officer from First Security Bank and a member of the Highland Methodist Church in Lincoln County. Survivors include two daughters, Tamara Blades, Lexington, and Kim (Thomas) Grant, Versailles; and two grandchildren, Tommy (Ashley) Grant, Lexington, Amy Grant (Adam) Bailey, Midway; and two great-grandchildren, Harper Grace Bailey and Scarlett Hope Bailey. A son-in-law, Larry Blades, is deceased. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Thursday, July 21, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Tim Thompson. Burial will follow at the Midway Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Versailles United Methodist Church Building Fund, 135 Court St., Versailles, KY 40383.
