Donald Lee Dotson, 67, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Barbara Ann Drury Dotson, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Wallace Lee and Mary Jean Roberts Dotson. He retired from the Bluegrass Airport after working in maintenance for many years, and most recently worked as a groundskeeper for Wild Turkey Trace Golf Course. Survivors include a sister, Virginia Duncan, Berea; three brothers, Ray Dotson, Lexington, Ricky Dotson, Corbin, and Bill Dotson, Georgia; his mother-in-law, Mary Anna Drury, Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Monday, Aug. 15, at Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, by Bro. Shannon Blosser. Burial was in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Casket bearers were Jerry Davenport, Justin Shifflett, Dave McCann, Keith Bowman, Mike McDonald, and Ricky Boggs.
