Alma "Babe" (Dinkler) McCall, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Jewish Hospital. Babe was born on June 27, 1942, in Bardstown, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Ethel (Maloney) Dinkler. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles R. "Dink" Dinkler. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church for 26 years and retired from Shelby Energy in 1990 after 25 years of service. Babe is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dan L. McCall; her daughters, Dana (Randy) Gravitt and Adonna McCall; grandchildren, Mikayla L. Marshall, Drew (Kasey) Gravitt, Derek Gravitt, Jackson Stamper and Jacy Stamper; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Brulport-Stamper and Gentry Gravitt. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Moffett and Rubie Roberts. Per Babe's wishes cremation was chosen and a service will be held at a later date.
