Olson Wayne McDonald, 72, of Versailles, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016. Born July 16, 1944, in Versailles, he was the son of the late William Jasper McDonald and Elsie Tindall McDonald. He served in the United States Army and was the owner and operator of McDonald's Towing. Survivors include four daughters, Vonya (Jay) Mitchell, Frankfort, Christy Powell, Florida, Tonya Lowry, Georgetown, and Kim Ballard, Nicholasville; a son, Johnny Roy McDonald, Nicholasville; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Two sons, Dewayne McDonald and Johnny Roy Lowry, sister, Delores Edmondson, and two brothers, Gwyn Lee McDonald and Larryn Douglas McDonald, are deceased. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 1, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
