Coleman runs for council

Mike Coleman has announced his candidacy for the Versailles City Council. In a statement, he said, "As we witness the growth in our city, our civic leaders are making decisions that will impact our future. I think my experience as vice chairman of the Woodford County Economic Development Authority (EDA), a Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission member, and as treasurer of the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce board of directors has equipped me with the skills and abilities to manage the growth and make the best decisions for the citizens of Versailles. Also, I serve as chairman of the July 4th Festival, the Versailles Christmas Festival and the Earth Day Main Street Clean Sweep committees and a member of the Woodford County Tourism Commission. "I will be honored to have the opportunity to represent you on the Versailles City Council. I will serve you to the best of my ability and look forward to bringing new leadership, fresh ideas and a bold voice to the city council. "Please vote for # 5 on the ballot. Your ideas and concerns are very important to me and I invite you to contact me anytime at (859) 552-2142 or email me at mikecitycouncil@gmail.com."
