Cynthia Marie Clifton Watts, 35, of Lawrenceburg, wife of Shane Watts, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born in Versailles, she was the daughter of James Stirling and Linda Alice Tandy Clifton of Versailles. She was a member of King's Way Assembly of God, a 1999 graduate of Woodford County High School, and a graduate of Midway College, where she obtained her bachelor's degree. She received her master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan and worked for the Kentucky State Government in the procurement division. In addition to her husband of 11 years and her parents, she is survived by twin boys, Brayden and Tyler Watts, and a 10-month-old son, Caden Watts, all of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Jay (Erin) Clifton, Versailles; her maternal grandmother, Edith Tandy, Versailles; her maternal great-grandmother, Stella Wilson, Frankfort; a sister-in-law, Layla Camden, Danville; two nieces; and a nephew. Services were conducted Friday, Sept. 23, at King's Way Assembly of God by Pastor Jeff Johnson. Burial was in Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers were Rusty Eagle, Brandin Johnson, Jay Clifton, Adam Curtsinger, Michael Chilton, and Sam Hagan. Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, was in charge of arrangements.
