Pauline Carter Rogers, 62, of Lexington, widow of Phillip Rogers Sr., died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, after a short illness. The daughter of the late James M. and Alma Mitchell Carter, she was a retired counter manager at Hart's Dry Cleaning. Survivors include two sons, Phillip Wayne (Tammy) Rogers Jr. and Harry Markham (Cari) Rogers; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Kayla, Tyler, Seth, Amber and Olivia; a great-grandchild, McKenna; a sister, Mary Jones; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, James A. Carter, and a sister, Betty Lee Carter, are deceased. Services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 1, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Main Street, Lexington, by Brother Ernest Wilcher. Burial was in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers were her sons, Phillip Jr. and Mark, Jimmy (Red) Miller, Earl Crouch, Thomas Crouch and Moe Owens. Honorary bearers were her grandchildren.
