Dona B. Adams Wilson, 73, of Versailles, wife of Larry R. Wilson for 57 years, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016. Born in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Margaret Robinson Adams. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Bill) Bryant, Versailles, and Lynda (Melvin) Figueroa, Clermont, Fla.; a sister, Rose Ella (Wayne) Luttrell; two brothers, J.R. Jack (Deannia) Adams and Jerry (Sandy) Adams; three sisters-in-law, Emma (Chuck) Roberts, Laura Willoughby, and Maude (Charles) Beagle; a brother-in-law, Norman (Yvette) Wilson; four grandchildren, Adam and Maggie Bryant and Hunter and Austin Figueroa; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Kim Carmickle, who assisted in her caregiving. Services were conducted Friday, Oct., at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by Chaplain Esther Sapp. Burial followed in the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were Bill Bryant, Adam Bryant, Melvin Figueroa, Hunter Figueroa, Austin Figueroa, and Rick Roberts. Memorials are suggested to the Woodford County Historical Society, 121 Rose Hill Avenue, Versailles, KY 40383, or Hospice of the Bluegrass, 643 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
