Elaine Hoffeld, 92, of Versailles, widow of Clarence Hoffeld, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016. Born May 12, 1924, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Carrie and Myrtle Van Meter Bush. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Hoffeld Morton, Texas, Janice Hoffeld Lockard, Versailles, Jean (Larry) Hoffeld-Shires, Texas, and Tammy (Daryl) Hoffeld Bramlett, Versailles; a son, Richard "Rick" (Gwen) Hoffeld, Union; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. A brother, Robert Bush, is deceased. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 15, at Rose Crest Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
