Possession of controlled substance, heroin (1st degree) - Chasity D. Fussner, address unavailable, combined with excessive window tinting, 13 days with credit. Fleeing/evading police (2nd degree) - Joshua Beach, address unavailable, combined with DUI, $743 plus eight days with credit. Police Reports Versailles police responded to six injury accidents, 20 non-injury wrecks, two domestic-related complaints, made one arrest and issued one citation/summons. On Oct. 20 at 4:24 p.m., a Hyundai Elantra driven by Edgar H. Lopez,30, of Lexington, was headed east on Old Frankfort Pike when Lopez lost control around a curve and his vehicle struck the end of a bridge and came to rest on the bridge. Lopez was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital. Police say inattention and not being under proper control were factors in the crash. On Oct. 22 at 10:24 p.m., a Chevy Colorado driven by Jaqueline J. Meade, 41, of Lexington, was headed west on the Blue Grass Parkway while a Kia Sedona driven by Rosa L. Reddick, 58, was headed east. Meade said she was using her cell phone when she lost control and her vehicle crossed over the median and struck the front side of Reddick's vehicle, then came to rest against the rail on the right shoulder of the road. Meade was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital. Police say the cell phone and inattention on the part of Meade were factors in the wreck. On Oct. 23 at 4:01 p.m., a four-wheel ATV ridden by Collin G. Catanese, 21, of 821 Lakeview Drive, left the right side of the road, hit tree roots, and veered left, throwing Catanese onto asphalt. Catanese was treated by Woodford County EMS workers at the scene. Police say alcohol and misjudging clearance were factors in the wreck. On Oct. 25 at 8:43 a.m., a Chevrolet Suburban driven by James A. Evans, 57, of 314 Kentucky Avenue, was headed east on Lexington Road near the parkway underpass while a Ford F-150 driven by Zackery C. Eskue, 26, of Frankfort, was headed in the same direction behind Evans. Evans told police a tractor-trailer pulled out in front of him and he tried to stop abruptly before his vehicle struck Eskue's vehicle in the rear. A passenger in Evans's vehicle, Johnathan R. Arnold, 23, of 2642 Aiken Road, was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital. Police say Eskue was not under proper control and misjudged clearance. On Oct. 25 at 2:27 p.m., a Peterbilt 386 driven by Curtis S. Morrison, 25, of Richmond, and a Ford Econoline 250 driven by Allan R. Dennis, 49, of Corydon, Ind., were westbound on Lexington Road. Dennis slowed for a red light at Marsailles Road. Morrison said he looked down to put a cup in a cup holder and his vehicle rear-ended Dennis's vehicle. Dennis struck his head on a metal divider and was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital. Police say inattention on the part of Morrison was a factor in the wreck. On Oct. 26 at 3:53 p.m., a BMW R-1100 ridden by Tommy N. Thomas, 54, of 205 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, was westbound on Montgomery Avenue when Thomas lost control and his vehicle overturned and struck the pavement. He was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. Police say his vehicle was not under proper control. On Oct. 26, an Apple computer worth $1,500 was reported stolen at Midway University. On Oct. 18, four Amazon gift cards worth $1,800 were reported stolen via the Internet on McDonald Drive. On Oct. 25, a padlock worth $20 at a Fieldview Drive building was reported vandalized. On Oct. 22, identity theft was reported on Cummins Ferry Road. On Oct. 27, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Linden Circle that caused $200 in damage to a wooden fence. On Oct. 27, a wallet worth $20 was reported stolen in a Lexington Street parking lot. On Oct. 27, a Toyota Scion worth $16,000 was reported stolen on North Brand Street in Midway. On Oct. 27, identity theft involving a Social Security number was reported on Craigs Creek Road. On Oct. 28, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident in a Crossfield Drive parking lot. On Oct. 25, mail was reported stolen from a home on Winter Street in Midway involving $40 in consumable goods. On Oct. 26, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Bold Court. On Oct. 28, $1,300 in cash and $2,500 worth of checks were reported stolen from a store on Pinckard Pike. On Oct. 29, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Cummins Ferry Road. On Oct. 29, a Kentucky EPO was reported violated at an Arbor Place Drive home. On Oct. 28, police made an arrest on Lexington Street involving DUI, marijuana trafficking (less than eight ounces) and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Oct. 30, a Tyrone Pike convenience store reported the shoplifting of a 5-hour Energy drink worth $3.39. On Oct. 30, a Sentry safe worth $20 was reported vandalized at a home on McDonald Drive. On Oct. 30, $384 in fraudulent credit card charges was reported at a Versailles bank. On Oct. 31, police issued a citation/summons on Avenue of the Champions for possession of drug paraphernalia. Fire Reports City Firefighters performed 27 EMS assists during the past week. One child safety seat was installed. Firefighters responded to vehicle accidents on Lexington Road Oct. 25 and on Montgomery Avenue Oct. 26. Firefighters helped search for a lost person Oct. 25. The person was found. A vehicle fire was extinguished on Rose Hill Avenue Oct. 26. A smoke detector malfunctioned at a Pine Grove Road residence Oct. 26. Firefighters assisted with a residential lockout on Tyrone Pike Oct. 26. Firefighters responded to a report of power lines down on Rose Hill Avenue Oct. 31.
