Stella Mae Clark Shea, 89, widow of James Shea, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg. Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Ida Mae Redmon Clark. She was a longtime member of CrossPointe Church. Survivors include five children, Yvonne (Steve) Crawley, Lawrenceburg, Shirley (James) Warfield, Frankfort, and Michael W. (Virginia) Shea, Danny Shea, and Burnett Shea, all of Versailles; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two sons, James Stewart Shea and Arthur Shea; three sisters, Mattie Johnson, Jesse B. Penn, Maggie Lewis; and a brother, William S. Clark, are deceased. Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by Pastor Bryan Roberts and the Rev. Tony Andrade. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to CrossPointe Church.
