Banks

William Ralph Banks, 83, of Versailles, widower of Betty Edwards Banks, died Thursday Nov. 3, 2016. Born June 3, 1933, in Winchester, he was the son of the late Leonard and Lillie Reed Banks. Survivors include four children, Rosella (Terry) Sutherland, Lebanon, Ind., Bonnie Banks and Ralph Wayne Banks, both of Frankfort, and Jimmy Stewart, Versailles; two sisters, Carolyn (Woody) Reynolds and Phyllis Craft, both of Winchester; two brothers, Douglas (Juanita) Banks and Bobby Banks, both of Winchester; five grandchildren, Kelley (Kyle) Davis, Lebanon, Ind., Jessica (Mike Rice) Banks and Crystal (Bryan) Samples, both of Frankfort, Autumn (Chance) Wilson, Versailles, and William (Rachel) Banks, Frankfort; seven great-grandsons and eight great-granddaughters. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Rose Crest Cemetery by the Rev. Jeff Douglas. Casket bearers were Terry Sutherland, Blake Davis, Bryan Samples, Kaden Hollingsworth, William C. Banks and Mike Rice. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
