Midway Station plan sent to Planning Commission

An amended development plan to construct a shed on the lot of an existing business at 701 McKinney Avenue in Midway Station, located north of the I-64 interchange, was forwarded to the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission on Nov. 15. Jeffrey Reed's plan to construct the 30-foot-by-60-foot metal shed for heavy equipment on the 1.61-acre lot was reviewed by members of the Technical Review Committee (TRC). The electrical contracting business has an office and shop with storage currently, but additional space was needed for storage. A parking lot and outdoor storage area may need screening that is not currently in place. Also, storm-water drainage will likely need to be addressed with the development of additional lots in this area of Midway Station, Planning Director Pattie Wilson said. Minor plats A minor consolidation plat creating lots at 1290 Crossfield Drive (1.2133 acres) and 451-455 Lexington Road (.5253 acre) was reviewed by TRC. If public water service is available, the plat will be forwarded to the Planning Commission's chair for approval. If not, the plat must go to the full commission, with plans to extend the waterline to the site. An in-family conveyance plat creating tracts at 1108 Cummins Ferry Road (Gladys L. Sutherland to James E. and Gladys Sutherland), 1290 Cummins Ferry Road (Gladys L. Sutherland to James E. Sutherland, husband) and 1204 Cummins Ferry Road (Gladys L. Sutherland to James E. Sutherland, son) was sent to the commission chair for approval. An in-family conveyance plat creating lots at 500 Sellers Mill Road (Clara Fougere to Donald J. Fougere, husband), 510 Sellers Mill Road (Clara Fougere to Susan and Timothy Kinmon) and 1685 Delaney Ferry Road (Clara L. Fougere to Nichole M. and Phillip T. Robb) was sent to the commission chair for approval. A minor consolidation plat (Kelshel, limited partnership) creating lots at 306 Kidds Mill Road, 3915 Pinckard Pike and 103 Kidds Mill Road (rural residential and residual farmland zoning districts) was sent to the commission chair for approval.
