Joann R. Stepp, 80, died on Nov. 16, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Stepp. She was also the daughter of the late John and Nannie Robinson and sister of the late Ida Jean Dalton, Glenn Robinson, and Bernice Cassell. She is survived by her daughter, JonAnn Horn; son-in-law E.J. Horn; and two grandsons, Adam and Austin. Her brother John Robinson, sister Sybil Robinson, and many beloved sisters–in-law, nieces and nephews also survive her. Joann was a graduate of Inez High School and Pikeville College. She enjoyed a 38-year teaching career in Ohio, Alabama and Kentucky. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Inez First Baptist Church and Versailles Church of God. Her passions included photography, painting, nature and music. She especially loved singing in church and listening to her grandsons, whom she adored, sing and play music. Services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 19, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial was at Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers were Adam Horn, Austin Horn, E J Horn, Mark Bowman, Steve Roberts, and William Patton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Inez First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 302, Inez, KY 41224, or Versailles Church of God, 282 Douglas Avenue, Versailles, KY 40383. (Paid obituary)
