Anna Lois Cox, 80, of Versailles, widow of Tommy Cox, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late James and Lucille Donovan Adams. A retired beautician, she was a 1956 graduate of Versailles High School, and an active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Denise Allen (Terry), Lexington, and Kim Brown (Bill), Florida; two sons, Steve Cox (Vickie) and Mark Cox (Sherry), both of Versailles; a sister, Louise Claxon, Lexington; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandsons. A son, Clinton Cox, and a brother, Charles Adams, are deceased. Services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 3, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church by Pastor Basil Hall and Pastor DeWayne Brewer. Burial was in the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were Brett Allen, Brian Allen, Cody Brown, Dalton Cox, Daniel Cox and Eric Cox. Honorary bearers were Clint Ross, Johnathan Young, and Greg VonGruenigen. Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Mt.
